GBPro200 Images (PB MapInfo GBPro200)

GBPro200 Images GBPro200 Images is derived from Bartholomew data, covering GB (including the Isle of Man) plus the Channel Islands. It consists of selected parts of the GBPro200 Complete product - just the images plus layers of postcode districts and areas, with place names suitable for use with the Find command.

GBPro 200 Images technical information

A workspace file opens all the layers and sets zoom layer thresholds that determine when the layers are visible.

A georeferencing file positions each image and a seamless table opens all the files required for the current map view.

The British National Grid co-ordinate system is used. The nominal scale of these images is 1:200,000 (about 1 inch to 3 miles) and the resolution is 10 dots/mm (254 dpi). Each pixel represents 20m square.

This is suitable for scales on screen in the range 1:200,000 to 1:50,000.

The storage space required is about 178Mb for full Great Britain coverage in MapInfo TAB format.

Main formats available; MapInfo TAB/TIFF, ESRI TFW/TIFF and others, along with georeferencing files for use in GIS.
