• The most detailed national mapping available, continually maintained by field survey teams;
• Fully geo-referenced OS MasterMap vector data;
• Supplied for any defined area and priced per hectare;
• Fits precisely with AddressView and TransportMap products also derived from the OS MasterMap data set;
• CoverMap RASTER is also available as a set of images, not georeferenced, for particular areas of interest.

CoverMap VECTOR technical information

A workspace (for use in MapInfo Professional) or project file (for use in ESRI ArcView/GIS) opens all the layers and sets zoom layer thresholds that determine when the layers are visible.

Suitable for scales on screen in the range of 1:2,500 to 1:500.

The British National Grid co-ordinate system is used.

The storage space required for the whole of Great Britain is approximately 280GB in MapInfo TAB format.

Main formats available: MapInfo TAB, AutoCAD DXF or DWG, ESRI SHP and others.

Each site at which CoverMap VECTOR is used requires a current copyright licence from Ordnance Survey, which allows copying of any Ordnance Survey paper maps for internal business use. If you do not already have that licence, we can arrange it with your annual agreement.

CoverMap VECTOR is licensed for one year for internal business use by all users on a specified number of sites, and includes hard copy prints up to A3 in size (with above licence). Publishing on the Internet is not licensed. Updates are available by ordering the product afresh.

• Great Britain; or
• Selected areas/sites (priced per ha); and
• Northern Ireland (companion product – CoverMap OSNI VECTOR - derived from the Ordnance Survey of Northern Ireland Large-scale vector dataset).
