TerrainMap OSNI technical information
A workspace (for use in MapInfo Professional GIS) or project file (for use in ESRI ArcView/GIS) opens all the layers and sets zoom layer thresholds that determine when the layers are visible.
Suitable for scales on screen in the range 1:200,000 to 1:20,000. The 20km x 20km tiles are based on the OSNI grid.
The Irish Transverse Mercator Grid co-ordinate system is used.
The storage space required is about 360MB for full NI coverage in MapInfo TAB format.
Main formats available: MapInfo TAB, ESRI SHP, AutoCAD DXF, Illustrator EPS and others.
TerrainMap OSNI is licensed for internal business use by a specified number of users and includes hard copy prints up to A3 in size. Publishing on the Internet may require the next multi-user pricing band.
