Up to now some datasets, such as OS MasterMap, have required specialist
software to translate the data into a format ready for use in GIS or CAD
systems. Often the raw data - although containing detailed information -
needs cartographic styling to bring out the real meaning of all the
map's features. Only then can it be properly interpreted to support
business decisions.
