FME Server enables organisations to quickly share data using flexible web-based distribution and loading services. Designed to handle large volumes of data, FME Server empowers you to get your spatial information into the hands of users - where, when and how they need it.
FME Server brings the strengths of FME's proven data translation, transformation and integration technology from FME Desktop to the enterprise environment, enabling organisations to take advantage of flexible spatial data distribution and scalable data loading and conversion.
The FME Server Authoring course will allow you to understand FME Server's capabilities whilst also allow you to get familiar with the transition from FME Desktop to Server with one of our Certified Trainers to guide and support you.
The course is aimed at existing FME Desktop users who need to move their ETL processes to a scalable environment that can offer all the benefits of an enterprise solution such as security and failover capabilities. That said, this one day course also serves as a good way of evaluating FME Server and as such managers or system architects who want to understand what FME Servers capabilities are may also find this course very useful.
