Routefinder
Routefinder provides an extra dimension to MapInfo Professional by allowing you to solve routing related issues.
Routefinder can be used to answer the following types of questions:
- how can I best route vehicles between multiple points to save money or time?
- how many customers live within 30 minutes of my store?
- what will the effect of temporary roadworks, road closures and speed restrictions be?
Sample data is included, or we can provide road network data, such as OS MasterMap ITN Layer (TransportMap) or NAVTEQ NAVSTREETS (TrafficMap).

Crime Profiler
If you are a Force or CDRP analyst, you can use the power of Crime Profiler to interrogate data to discover trends and relationships. Improved analysis techniques support the identification of repeat trends in serial offences, and scenarios can be re-used to speed up future analysis.
A crime analysis dashboard links the analytics to the map in real-time, so the effect of spatial queries and relationships can be seen in an analytical context. A hotspotting tool allows you to process large volumes of data, and you will benefit from a choice of hotspotting features including Kernal Density Estimation.
The triangulation tool allows trends to be identified in data with three variables.
Height and colour can be used to bring your data to life with the 3D extruded voxel tool.
About Crime Profiler
Vertical Mapper
Vertical Mapper extends MapInfo Professional allowing the creation of grids or continuous surfaces of data for modeling or analysis, including 3D output.
You can use Vertical Mapper to:
- create grids to represent data varying from location to location, such as elevation, temperature or average family income
- extrapolate partial data or point data to provide a complete picture
- create 3D maps to show the impact of proposed development sites
