Public sector customers
British customers in central and local government have various collective purchase agreements with Ordnance Survey. These generally mean there is no additional charge for sharing the data with more users within an organisation, so a shared spatial database makes sense economically.
For this reason SuperpOSe customers include many national organisations, local authorities and emergency services, such as:
- British Transport Police;
- Calderdale Council;
- Coventry City Council;
- Halton Borough Council;
- Leicestershire County Council;
- London Borough of Ealing;
- London Borough of Hackney;
- Natural England;
- Suffolk County Council;
- Transport for London;
- City of Wakefield Metropolitan Borough Council;
- West Midlands Fire Service;
- Liverpool County Council;
- Bolton Metropolitan District Council.
Private sector customers
SuperpOSe is being adopted rapidly by commercial customers who value the richness of OS MasterMap data.
These include outsourced IT companies, utilities and engineering consultants as well as major retailers whose online ordering services rely on accurate geocoding of addresses and fast, reliable routing calculations.
