SuperpOSe Loading

SuperpOSe data management capabilities

SuperpOSe graphically confirms the areas covered by geographical chunks of OS MasterMap data when they are selected for loading and while processing is in progress.

The duplicate features supplied in geographical chunks are automatically detected and discarded where features overlap at the chunk edge.

SuperpOSe prepares the tables ready for use, by building spatial indexes and populating Oracle metadata.

Maintenance of very large databases can be simplified by using spatial partitioning, if required.

SuperpOSe provides peace of mind by processing the optional Feature Validation Data Set (FVDS) which lists the TOID and Version of all current features against the loaded holding.

Compatibility with existing projects and workspaces is ensured by providing complete freedom for tables and columns to be chosen and named as required.

SuperpOSe includes unique pattern-matching rules which can be fully configured to enhance the data supplied by Ordnance Survey, composing a set of interoperable tables that are compatible with a wide range of GIS and CAD applications.

A sophisticated extraction wizard can slice all data into tiles and publish them in many GIS and CAD formats for any users who cannot connect directly to the spatial database.

SuperpOSe provides easy control over the Oracle users and tables it manages, for example allowing the administrator to clear them ready for re-use.
