Countryside Council for Wales - New Website Goes Live!

We are pleased to announce that the new CCW website has now gone live. Working closely with Reading Room on this project, ResponseMX mapping is now one of the key news features on the CCW website. Dotted Eyes and Reading Room have worked from conception to completion the design and delivery of interactive maps, now used in many areas of the CCW website with more to follow.

Interactive maps are designed for people to explore the countryside and plan trips. The existing Access Land application has been ported across with same new functionality including a “Find my Nearest” type application, with a clever accordion that makes maximum use for the screen real estate.

There is also now an application for Protected Sites. Over the coming weeks and months, further sections of the website will begin to use ResponseMX, including a Regional Maps section, and an interactive method of obtaining statutory records such as PDF’s for sites within Wales. A further achievement has also been met on the accessibility front with accessible tabbed controls now included.
