Dotted Eyes and miso split to improve customer service
This week, Dotted Eyes and miso announced they have officially split into two separate trading companies following an evolution of changes put in place two years ago. This cements the success of the two companies in providing better customer service through more focused offerings.
Dotted Eyes instigated this change programme in 2013 when it first revealed it was going to split into miso, its online mapping and data business, and Dotted Eyes, its consultancy business. Operating under the Dotted Eyes Limited umbrella, the two companies have been functioning separately ever since.
The split has enabled both companies to clearly focus on developing product lines that are specifically tailored to the needs of their customers. Dotted Eyes has specialised in helping large blue chip organisations and NHS trusts get the most from their field teams. Whereas, miso has established itself as a leading online mapping and data provider, delivering innovative solutions that help organisations solve common business problems.
Going forward, the two companies will continue to be known as their brand names, Dotted Eyes and miso, but each will operate under separate limited company names. The change will not make any difference to how they work with their customers but it will provide each company with complete independence and focus.
Ben Allan, MD of Dotted Eyes and miso, commented: “This is an exciting time for us and it is the next logical step in providing greater clarity and freeing up our managers to make better decisions. We have made a real step forward in providing our customers with a better experience through clearer offerings and in the coming months we will be launching new product lines that will help us differentiate our businesses further.”
