DOTTED EYES TO PRESENT AT AGI GEOCOMMUNITY ‘12
The emergence of social networks in recent years has added a new dynamic to the way in which many of us communicate. To provide an insight into how these networks are impacting the GIS community we’re delighted to announce that our very own Business Solutions Director, Charlie Gilbert, has been given a speaker’s slot at this year’s AGI Conference.
At the conference Charlie will be examining the trends and benefits of different community groups within the GIS community such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Blogs vs. the traditional industry publications and forums. He will also be discussing how the GIS Community is embracing these communities as they continue to grow in number and develop.
AGI GeoCommunity ’12: Sharing the Power of Place is the largest and most comprehensive independent conference in the UK digital mapping and data calendar. The conference will be held at the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham on the 18th to 20th September 2012.
