Cartographic Rendering Tricks You Won’t Want To Miss
We’re pleased to announce that a record number of people have already registered for our upcoming webinar on Tuesday 27th November.
Hosted by Dotted Eyes’ founder Jamie Justham, this webinar will discuss cartographic rendering tricks for Ordnance Survey (OS) VectorMap Local.
Ordnance Survey offers a number of styling suggestions for OS VectorMap Local, which are intended to be applied in browser-based viewers. Of course, FME makes it easy to translate the data from zipped GML files into formats required by GIS and CAD software. But how can styling information be incorporated?
Having worked closely with the OS for a number of years, Jamie has styled complex OS VectorMap Local data using FME to make it cartographically attractive and optimised for functional analysis. In this half hour webinar, Jamie will share his experience in developing and applying cartographic rendering tricks while FME processes the data.
Our aim is to provide you with useful tips and tools that you can use in your role. Feedback from one of our last webinars revealed that over 90% of the attendees learnt something new in FME.
Date: Tuesday 27th November 2012
Time: 10am – 10.30am
