Our first Tableau User Group was a roaring success

This month we joined forces with our sister company, miso, to host a Tableau User Group in Birmingham and we’re pleased to announce that it was a huge success.  Within just weeks of us announcing it, the event had sold out – demonstrating the level of interest this BI tool is generating in the marketplace.

Word is spreading fast when it comes to Tableau.  And we’re not the least bit surprised.  At Dotted Eyes, our consultants have been using it for some time now to analyse data and create stunning visualisations.  We decided to become a reseller simply because we were so blown away by its ease of use, speed and capabilities. We don’t think there’s anything quite like it on the market.

What better way to share our passion for Tableau than to host an event. Over the years we’ve become experts at delivering events with a difference. We focus on making them fun, interactive and engaging.  Our goal is simple – we want delegates to go away having learnt new ideas or concepts that they can then apply in their own organisations.  And our Tableau event was no exception to the rule.

The interactive and fun format enabled delegates, which ranged from Tableau newbies to more experienced users, to share ideas and get hands-on experience of using this software.

Darren Randall at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust commented:  “Having not used Tableau before, this event was a great way to understand more about it and meet people who already use it. The interactive format was really useful and the hands-on challenge was particularly valuable as it meant you got to see the technology in action.”
